My n reg aero is suffering from what feels like petrol starvation on full throttle, is it a pipe sucking in air or the DI cassette that's the problem? also the APC dial has stopped working. It still goes like censored but i can't give it a bootful! Slowly feed the power in and there's no problems. Answers on a postcard pleasesmile

Is it boosting into the red and then just shuts off abruptly as if there's no fuel going in...?

If so, it sounds like the boost pressure control valve has failed. Quite a common problem.

The vacuam/boost pipe that goes to the apc guage can break just behind the engine. It's a tiny small bore rubber pipe.

The pipe that supplies the apc gauge comes out of the firewall on the rh side, joins a y piece where the hose goes to the dump valve, which is fed off the inlet manifold on the left hand side. If you have no boost indication then the dump valve will be lifting under boost and failing to open when throttle is closed. Check all vacuum lines...if they are original black hoses they are prone to carbonisation...recommend swapping for new or similar sized silicon hose.
