New to PH but not to Saab
Discussion
Hi, just to introduce myself!
I have recently bought a 9-3 Convertible Aero, 2.8 V6 Hirsch upgraded beast and like it very much indeed. Well, all except the fuel economy!
Before that I had a 9-3 2.2 TID hence my shock at the latest fuel economy! Good car and very comfortable but not too inspiring to drive although pretty potent when needed.
Before that I had a 900 T16S Aero Convertible (full pressure) which I truly LOVED. It was one of the best cars I have ever had/driven. I had it for about 10 years (it was 16 years old when I sold it) and it had done 265000 miles with few problems.
Before that was a 99 turbo with water injection and much messed with suspension etc. I rebuilt this car from the ground up. This was my baby and great fun but it was a little difficult to live with at times.
Before that was a 1972 2.0 99 saloon which was in effect my first car.
I have had a couple others makes in amongst that lot but always seem to come back to Saab. I hope their recent sale to Spyker revitalises them and helps them to produce some more of the querky unusual cars that were the reason I first liked them.
