Clutch pedal travel on 9 5 aero

Can anyone tel me the distance the clutch pedal should travel on a 9 5 aero (MY2001)? I just tried one and it was like driving a tractor. The pedal seemed to travel about 9 inches! Well, maybe I'm exaggerating but it travelled a lot.

Yep, it travels alot, lever throw is ridiculously long too.

No worries. You do get used to it and it ceases to be such a problem i've found. Jamsaab do a short throw lever for the 9-5 too which is good news.

yip, the full travel is long, but i notice i dont need to push it that far to change gear (and thats with a new clutch ermm.... 45k miles ago - ok forget that one, forgot had put that many miles since getting the clutch changed! still the pedal feel hasnt changed much.)
