Steering woble at 55-65+ Driveshaft?
Discussion
Hi, I've had this annoying steering wobble on my 2000 9-3 Aero since Ive had it.
I didn't notice it on a test drive (at various speeds) then once home and in use I noticed the problem. It used to be from ~55-65mph only. But now comes at 'motorway' speeds as well sometimes.
Had my wheels balanced - little to no improvment.
Not yet had tracking done as I'm waiting till after I've fitted a rack clamp/brace (any ideas which one?)
I've recently noticed what sounds like a dodgy front wheel bearing, So I've jacked the car up and had the wheels off - bearings seem fine to me - But the passenger driveshaft seems to have some in/out and slight right/left movement on the passenger side (gearbox end) and the drivers seems solid. Is this normal or could this cause my problem?
Any ideas?
Thanks
