Always loved these classic 900's, so i bought one for my girlfriend for xmas and thought i'd share it with you guys. It's had a LOT of work recently, complete engine rebuild with everything balanced etc, brand new gearbox from Saab, Koni suspension, vented disks, bigger cylinder head and intake, think they are off a 2.3? Stainless sports exhaust system etc... It's really lovely to drive, wish i'd kept the thing for myself now frown Will no doubt be popping in now and again to ask advice, hope you like it

That looks like a great car. We've had 2 c900 turbos, a saloon and a hatch. Both were great fun to drive and I always regret selling the 3 door, even though it was unreliable. Have you joined up on UK Saabs? It's a great forum for Saab advice. Well done, enjoy the car.

That looks very well looked after. Take care of it! How much did you pay if you don't mind my asking?

It's been really loved by the previous owner, it drives perfect, and the engine is basically new, nut and bolt rebuild by a company called Two Stroke who specialise in Saab, and a brand new gearbox too.
She will look after it, no choice in the matter smile The car was advertised for £3.8k, and after seeing it and going through the £9k of bills in the last 8000 miles i didn't even try and knock him down. I think it should prove to be a very reliable car for her and was worth every penny!

That looks very nice. Congratulations. Two Stroke are just up the road from me, and are vey good from what I've heard.

Loving your 911 as well!

Thanks mate, the Porsche is a bit nuts, if you've got a spare half an hour you can read a smidge about it here http://pistonheads.com/xforums/topic.asp?h=0&f... 930-993tt engine project smile

Love it. Such a rare find in that condition these days too. Lucky GF indeed, what does she think of it?

Not crazy about the steering wheel but each to his own. That engine bay looks clean enough to eat dinner off!

Indeed, that's a 2.1 intake manifold with the bigger runners so it stands to reason it's got the 2.1/2.3 head, too... smile

Very very nice - lucky girlfriend.

My ex was very keen on a white Carlsson a few years ago.

We have never used Two stroke to Turbo, but I have heard very mixed things about them on the forums.

Had a couple of jobs done by them before they moved - did alright by me although they weren't cheap. They did give me a very amusing loaner though (starship mileage 9000 2.0 auto which pulled to the left an alarming amount!

Beautiful car! Always admired the unique quirkiness of them and ended up buying my 93 Aero with all the bits 2 years ago!

Hello JBL - sorry to hear about the damage. I think you might try `Craig` on UKsaabs - he`s very knowledgeable & has a lovely black Carlsson, was very helpful with parts for me. - good luck!
