Hi all,

Im looking at getting a second car to use to transport my Great Dane around, Currently Im looking for something thats built quite well and reliable, I have never owned a SAAB, but always under the impression they are built well and are reliable?

Im looking at a 1998 9-5 SE 2.0T thats done around 110,000 miles with full Saab service History, is that alot of miles for these cars? and what are the common problems?

cheers

Not a lot of miles, I have a R reg (so 97), which has done 145K, and it still going strong; great performance and brilliant for motorway cruising.

Not sure on common problems, I've had nothing major so far on this car , but only had it 3 years.

Where is the Great Dane going , sitting in the back seats ?

I was thinking of lowering the rear seats flat, and letting him have the whole of the rear of the car

Should work it's fairly flat when you do that, just wonder about the parcel shelf as that's not movable (I don't think) and Danes are pretty big(!). Nice car for your hound though smile

O..that could be a slight problem if the parcel shelf is not removable
