Have just put a deposit down on a 9-5 Aero Hot 2002 and am having trouble getting a straight answer!

I live in Central Europe and need to have winter tyres for 6 months of the year.

Previously I have purchased a set of steel wheels and fitted the smallest diameter wheels with high sidewall tyres to maintain circumference.

So, long story short, can I fit smaller (16"?) steel wheels with snow tyres? Who would be best to supply?

Thanks

i would say yes as Saab 9-5 come with 16" on certain models and a slighly higer profile should maintain the same circumference, however I'm no expert, so someone might correct me smile

Problem is the Aero models 'normally' have bigger brakes.

My 9-3 for instance would only run 17" wheels.

Hmmmmmmm.

Yes your right, what about 17" winter tyres on some secondhand rims...must be available and could be the easiest option

I spoke to Neo Brothers about this last week, they seem to think that certain 16" wheels would fit an Aero ok, even with the 308mm stoppers.

i want an aero
