Desperately seeking SAAB (02 9-3 TiD)

I've spent the past three months researching and searching for the right replacement for my current car; a vehicle of such blandness and lack of driving charisma that it shall remain shrouded in mild contempt and embarrassed secrecy.
The decision has been made that the replacement must be diesel, circa 02 onwards and be capable of carrying some sort of load and must not be French. Really want an Alfa but can't seem to locate the right spec and year. Would like an A4/A6 Avant but have been somewhat put off by the apparent lack of manners displayed by the TDi, as well as the costs of parts.
So I've been trying to think a little differently and now I am very seriously considering an 02 9-3 TiD. The past three days solid have seen me searching the PH classifieds, autotrader and ebay for the right colour, spec, mileage and location. What I've found is, there are a good selection of used SAABs in the south - but being in the North East and West means they're unreachable from a practical viewpoint.
Is there any sort of car finder service which could put a buyer in touch with a seller - ie, who would search for a specific spec, make sure it was legit etc, so a sale and perhaps delivery could take place? My first two cars have been bought at auction so if this service already exists please forgive my ignorance.
