Hi Everyone,
I picked up a 2001 9-3 Aero Coupe yesterday.
In black, pre-viggen kit, but with late aero wheels, with black leather.
So far so good, Liking it bar the torque steer and shocking grip in seccond gear with all the wet weather!
Will get some pics soon once I have my private plate on and smoked side repeaters!
Any fellow owners here?

Fit the rack clamp kit etc., to help with the steering feel and precision, and as said above, don't be aggressive with the throttle.
The electronic throttle on a T7 car is a peculiar thing, and responds better to progressive throttle movement rather than hooligan operation.
The key to going quicker is throttle smoothness not aggression.

I was making it loose grip on purpose really, Just to see what happens. I'm not that much of a fool to be doing it all the time - esp in wet weather!
What's the best clamp to get? Hoping this will sort some of the wandering you get also. The prices vary a lot but don't want something which is of inferior quality.
Thanks

i dont think so, i think i might have a crack on mine, as if you turn the steering wheel all the way, and if its wet, i can hear a faint crack.
they affect one in 3000 cars (from a source at Saab), and it costs a lot to fix
i had a saab like yours, and what the others are saying is right be easy on the throttle, as it likes smoothness

Ahh, right - thanks for that. I've just been to see a '51 TiD coupe/3 door; a little shabby inside but would clean up very nicely, has the carbon dash insert - however, no heated seats and a couple of other blanked off switches. Still, going to sleep on it and maybe go back...(unless you want to sell yours, of course...? )
No sorry!
I know the petrol turbo SE's have turbo embossed in the seats.
Mine has the following..
Full leather front and rear, elec & heated front (SE's are half leather I think)
Air con / climate
Front fogs
I'm fitting cruise control
Thats about it really I think!
Don't think any of the Derv's have the turbo gauge on the dash!
