Hi everyone new here but have been looking on here for while now as a guest.

Anyway to my problem I have a 2006 '06' Saab 9 3 Aero 2.8 Turbo. It judders very slightly whilst idleing, it also had a miss earlier today not bad revved it up and it cleared then had a good thrashing after but still have the slight judder on idle, I will add it's fine when driving and it's under powered at all. Any Ideas what the issue could be? Have read somwhere that it's the plugs, checked everything out headgasket wise (well no cream anywhere anyways) but would expect that on a 2006 car. Car has 72k miles and had a major service with Saab a 70k in may this year.

It's the same engine as used in the Vectra VXR's so any ideas? Thanks

HI

coil packs if its misfire at idle.

i had a misfire at part/wot which was plugs. iirc the coil packs aren't cheap. if your car modified?

VXR also has the same issue. check out www.vxronline.co.uk

cheers

Hey. I just asked about and there was a software update from them so it might be worth getting that done.

It could be a coil pack but just so u know at the place I work at we have not done many if any at all. I would also try cleaning the throttle out and when the software is done the throttle is re learned cos it sounds like your car is idleing low hope this helps.

Hi mate, would be very grateful if you could. Also I notice as I have a Vauxhall trade card that the plugs in ther are about £37. Are these the ones I need?

Sorry for the late reply been busy with work.

my turbox has been doing this too

changed the plugs helped but the dealer thinks it will come back so he is going to change the coil packs (he admits there has been issues.....)

Just noticed my first post said it's underpowered at all. That was meant to say it's not underpowered at all, drives lovely and has HUGE amounts of power. Anyway as to coil packs bloke I know said Saab replaced his 3 times and then found it to be just the plugs.
