A year into my first Saab owning experience and loving it to bits. It's an 09 model 93 aero convertible.

Two questions for the colletive here.

The seats drive me MAD! Not sitting in them, but moving them to allow someone into the back. Pull the backrest forwards and slide the seat. No problems. Damm seat then has no idea where it was and either locks in place wherever you put the back-rest up. Is it supposed to do that? My pug cabrio works fine, seat;s fold forwars, slide forwards, goes back to where they were!

I haev now done 10,000 miles and the brakes are driving me mad with dust! Are the pads Saab use particularly prone to dusting? I hate having dealers work on my brakes. They are bound to say it needs new pads and probably discs when it goes for a service in a few weeks. I'll do that bit myself though....at least I know it'll be right.

Other than that, love it.....although, it could do with some hooks in the boot to hang a shopping bag from!

I have an '08 Aero convertible and feel your pain re the brake dust! Although, I've not noticed the problem with the positioning of the backrest on the seats. I'll need to check that out later and I'll be keeping an eye out for updates on this one !

Hi mate. The seat will fold back if you pull the seat back a bit but not all the way. this will make the seat fold back. if u have memory seats then i would just learn your driving position. The rear brake pads do wear on them. you got to watch the inner pads as it will wear a lot quicker then the outer pad. Saab have brought out a new pad and im not sure if your car would of had them fitted yet because it was not long ago. this might help a bit. if you replace your pads then make sure you set the hand brake up or you can cause the pad to wear very quickly. hope this helps

I switched to using ECB Redstuff pads - much less dust and very reduced fade as well
