93 convertible - a wise choice?
Discussion
After weeks of well I fancy this and that the other half has decided she wants a 93 convertible. Budget £4,500.
We’ve had Jap cars for the last 5 years and they have been great but SAAB? I’ve no idea, done a bit a reading up and the reviews are mixed, seems like you either like SAAB’s or you don’t…anyway over to the experts.
Grateful for any pointers.

In terms of build quality and reliability I don't think you will have a problem. My knowledge on these cars is limited to the last 3 weeks where I have had one in my posession but in that time I have actually found it really nice to drive (I was surprised!).
They do have the odd little quirk like the ignition being down by the handbrake but I think that adds to the appeal of the car. Oh the one I have is for sale in the classifieds section if you are interested

I think the market for them is quite small as they are not as main stream as other manufacturers but if you go out and try one you may be pleasantly surprised.
