how does this sound?
2001 SAAB 9-5 2.0T 4DR FULL SERVICE HISTORY
4 Doors, Manual, Saloon, Petrol, 130 miles, GREY WITH GREY CLOTH TRIM. Air conditioning, Height adjustable drivers seat, ABS, Heated door mirrors, Folding rear seats, Passenger airbag, Radio/CD, Rear headrests, Steering wheel reach adjustment, 3x3 point rear seat belts, Steering wheel rake adjustment, Alloy wheels, Immobiliser, Side airbags, Front electric windows, Electric door mirrors, Rear electric windows, Steel wheels, Audio remote control, Isofix child seat anchor points, Front head restraints, Remote central locking, Drivers airbag, Alarm, Body coloured bumpers, Headlight washers, Rear armrest, PAS. MOT AND TAX, 130,000 MILES, FULLY HPI CLEAR
its up for a grand, looks fine. its on autotrader ,but do not know how to add links
going to use it as a daily smoker

the engines in 9.5s are crap..no wonder they are all cheap

whatever u do, if u buy one, u should always change the oil, and the sump, google sump issues with 9.5 engines and it will come up

just been to see it. lots of smoke on start up and the engine sounded rather rattly. so back to the drawing board

Actual engines arn't crap at all, it was just the PCV system and sump oil pickup design that was bad on the 1998-2003 9-5 lpt engine installation, and Saab not specifing full synth oil on the lpt's.

The redesigned engine from 2004 model year cured all the problems.

Indeed.

Aeros don't really suffer from it as a point of interest - perhaps because they tend to have fully synth in them.

Just get the sump dropped and the strainer cleaned, then use Mobil 1 fully synth every 6k.
