Premature discharge problem !!
Discussion
Need some help in diagnosing a problem with the Aircon in my 1995 SAAB 9000 CDE.
The aircon has been blowing ambient air for a little while and what with this excellent summer we're having , I thought I would get it fixed.
The garage I took it to, fully discharged the system and re-charged with an ultra-violet dye to test for leaks. Two were found; the condenser and the high pressure line from the compressor to the condenser.
These have both been changed however when the system was recharged, after about five minutes of operation, the gas discharges (dumps itself) out of the compressor.
New compressor fitted thinking the high pressure relief valve was the issue but the same problem exists.
The guy at the garage is now at a loss as to what to suggest. His theory is that there could be a blockage in the system which is causing the pressure build up leading to the gas to discharge itself.
If it's the drier/receiver that's not a big job to change and relatively cheap but if it's the evaporator, a much bigger job.
So guys, any suggestions as to what may be causing this and how to diagnose?
As always, any thoughts or suggestions welcome.

OK, so after a bit of research, I'm told the fan is switched on by both the engine thermostat and the ACC and that there have been instances of the where the ACC fails to turn the fan on due to wiring or relay faults. This causes the gas to 'over-pressure' and then discharges through the safety valve. So question is, does anyone have any experience of this and advice on how to diagnose, i.e. how to test the ACC is switching the fan on, where the relay is, wiring to check etc?
