Brake pads / poss disc change on 95 estate
Discussion
Hi Guys,
The Brakes on the Saab are feeling a little jaded and I'm going to get some new pads and maybe disc's if they look a little suspect on inspection.
Any recommendations on pads or discs or are oem they way to go? (also fluid recommendations)
The car is used daily with a mixture of country lanes and commuter traffic, driven briskly where oppertunities arise.
Its a 2001 95 estate 2.3lpt 180bhp
Ive never changed the pads on this car before so any pointers re problems would also be handy !!
Sorry for the numerous questions
Simon

Take it it's the fronts your doing? Very easy to do, a how to here http://www.twinsaabs.com/9-5_repair/brakes/intro.a...
Plain Brembo discs and Ferrodo DS2500 pads are the recommended upgrade on the SAAB forums. Pads are fairly pricy though.

I've got Black Diamond pads on my NG900 and they are very good for the money IMO
