Hi,

My 2001 9-3 Turbo has recently developed an odd noise that generally seems to start when turning from stationary (e.g. at a T-junction, etc). It continues once the front wheels are straight, but a light dab on the brakes seems to cure it.

The noise is difficult to describe, so I'm going to have to use my imagination a little here...if you say the word 'Loch' (as in 'Loch Ness') but drop the 'L' and elongate the 'och' part, it sounds like that (ok you can breathe in now!)

Sorry for the odd description, but any ideas…?

Cheers

Sounds like one of your brake caliper pistons is sticking and rubbing on the disc, strip, clean and rebuild with a new seal kit

Sounds plausible...I'll check it out.

Cheers.
