Hi all,
A bit of advice please.
My wife's 9-3 cabrio (2001 LPT, 90k miles) uses a bit of oil, and has recently started to smoke a bit on cold starts, clearing after a couple of minutes. Still runs and drives perfectly. I am guessing the turbo is on its way out? and would appreciate any comments on how long I might have before something terminal happens! I know nothing is certain, but it would be useful to know if for example they rarely last more than 1,000 miles from first signs, or alternatively have been known to carry on for years like this?
Thanks.
