9-5 Aero Battery key

Chaps,

I need to change the key battery in my 2001 9-5 Aero HOT - just a straight battery change or does it need a specialist to stop it going all mental?

No - very straight forward.

There's a small hole in the side of the key. Fit the biggest jeweller's screwdriver that will fill the hole and push hard. You will be pressing against a plastic sprung clip inside the key. At the same time, near the hole, gently lever up the back of the key.

PS It's a CR1632 battery

Is the battery the same for 2001 9-5?

I'm sure it was the same from 1998 onwards, according to a quick google.
