Hi
I am looking to buy a Saab 93 Aero HOT (around 51 plate) as a daily drive to replace my Alfa GTV which was recently stolen and written off by insurance company.

I have a couple of questions

1. Are there any good buyers guides/reviews around?

2. Where are good places to look for cars, apart from PH, Aerosaab, Autotrader? I'm already keeping a look out on those.

3. Are there any pitfalls to look out for?

4. What are the running costs/servicing costs like?

Thanks in advance

T7 Saabs can suffer from sludge forming in the sump, so be aware. Well looked after they are generally easy to live with. Ive had two in the last 7 years, apart from servicing costs. Ive shelled out on a idler pulley for the first 900s, a aircon clutch for my current one and a DI cassette. I eat brakes......

Ive not used either of them but they always have a good stock. I prefer private sales, keep scouring the usuals like you have.

Did I speak to you today at York raceway ? at the T5R.

Check out the Saab pics Ive posted a pic of mine.
