Afternoon all,

I'm pleased to say I'm now a Saab owner. I purchased a dark red/orange 9.5 lpt with a few mods and importantly an auto box so i can go driving with my injured foot. 1500 notes got me 117k miles, hirsch remap, immaculate interior, bilstein suspension, aero brakes and aero wheels all in what appears very good condition.

In the interest of seeing just how fast it was compared to previous cars and bikes i've owned I did a couple of runs on a private test road using a Race technology AP22 accelerometer and recorded some cracking times. It has been fairly accurate for my previous cars so i think it gives a good indication of performance.

First run 0-60 of 6.9 which I never managed to repeat but it ran 7.02 next best and would run 7.2 consistently with 18.5 to 100. pretty good I think for a heavy auto barge and shows how close it is to the Aero in terms of performance.

thought this might be of interest to anyone thinking of remapping their lpt - do it!
