9-5 Sump sludge cleaning question
Discussion
I've just bought a 9-5 2.3 Auto, and I'm planning to give it an oil change this week. I'd like to drop the sump to check for sludge, but the local motor factor doesn't list a gasket - does it have one, or do they fit with instant gasket ? I assume I need to remove the sump to check for sludge, can anyone advise please ?
Thanks in advance

just done my oil pick up on a 98 old saab 2.0 ltr 93 as the oil light was on. common fault. there was no gasket on my sump all you need to use is any clear sealer eg silicon window seal. your engine will not get hot inough to touch the stuff. had to lower drivers side sub frame down 2 inch to squeez the sump off.
