9-3 2.8T radiator fans on

i have noticed after driving quite 'hard' that the radiator fans turn on after i switch off the engine. is this normal?! it doesn't do if i drive normally..

I think this is quite normal for all cars. The switch is from a thermostat hence hot it will switch on.

As long as they turn off after a while and dont drain the battery then I would say all ok.

thanks, i didn't think it would be anything to serious, and its only done it twice. first time after a autobahn run, and the other couple days ago after some hooning.
