Second hand convertible - worried about the warranty
Discussion
Hello all,
I'm about to make my first foray into the world of convertibles. I'm going budget and am considering an 11 year old Saab 93, 2 litre turbo from a non franchised dealership. It's in good condition inside and out so generally I'm happy.
It comes with a 3 month warranty which covers the turbo (nice) but not the roof.
I'm worried that I might buy it and eventually find that the roof leaks or isn't working reliably, and without that being covered by the warranty I could be left with an expensive problem.
Does anybody have any good tips or suggestions on what I can do?
Any advice would be very much appreciated.
Thanks.

Is the roof in good condition? Does it work reliably now? It is most unlikely to leak if in good condition (watch out for trapping the rear seatbelts in the mechanism if you do buy it - it won't happen provided you ensure the belts are puy back under their slots after use). Other wise you would unlucky to have problems.I'm about to make my first foray into the world of convertibles.
