Hi, i have a 2000 saab 9-3 and want to change the stock tape deck for a decent aftermarket head unit. Now i can see there a few places that sell the facia adaptors, but nowhere that sells the euro adaptor for the aftermarket head unit.

I have changed stereos on many cars before without a hitch but it would seem that saab are making things a bit trickier. I realise that i will not be able to see the radio station channels on the sid and that the volume controls on the steering wheel wont work. Im not worried about that. All i want is the lead for the quick plug change.

Plz help !!

I used the Elk parts on my old 93 so can recommend that.

Just take care with the power feeds as if I remember correctly are not the same as a usual iso connection. Although it was a few years ago and may be completely wrong.!

If you want to sell the old radio unit make sure you get it "divorced" from the car by a dealer/specialist or it will be a paperweight!
