HI,
I have a 2001 9-3 2.0 turbo se (cab) the computer display has steadily got worse with parts missing, even the clock. Anyone else had this issue, if so how can I get it sorted?

Very common.

Replacement display unit required.

Not sure now as its been a number of years since I worked in a Saab Garage.

Not cheap though IIRC frown

There's a guy who advertises a repair service for the Saab Displays on Ebay (search for Saab display repair). I think it costs £40 + £5 delivery. You send him your display, he sends it back fixed and with a guarantee. Haven't tried it myself but the feedback looks good. Was thinking of using him for my 9-5 display, but haven't got round to it yet.

There's some links out there on how to do it yourself, basically the LCD comes away from the back plate, try the UK Saab forums

i can vouch for the ebay repair - look for the seller saab display repairs, i am pleased with mine. i tried the diy repairs but to no avail. for the money i think its best just send it off - the repairs were done very quickly.
