The 95 Aero is coming up for its annual doings next month so I rang my local specialist (Aeromotive Saab, batley) who quoted £100 for an interim. Now these are good chaps and I used them last year for the big 72k job but they don't work saturdays, have a courtesy car or give it a wash and vac; getting it there and picking it up is a right ball ache too.

So I rang Robert Bowetts who quoted £204 for the same job. I politely asked if they could adjust the price to bring it more into line with my other quote, given the specialist stamp is just as good as a main dealer, and they promptly knocked it down to £150. Key thing is they supply a courtesy car, only 2mins from my house and will give it a valet too.

So, it's worth an ask.

It would be nice if Aeromotive Saab had a courtesy car though as I'd rather use them tbh, it would be good for business surely?

I use Aeromotive as well - they're only about a few miles from me. A courtesy car would be good, but I don't mind tbh.
