saab 95 98 is gassing my Dad

My old man has a saab 95, he picked me up the other day and when i got in it was like he had tried gassing himself!! So it must be a vaccum hose! so have you guys got any ideas where to start looking? is there any common hoses that split?.. He is only getting 19mpg aswell so it must be a problem somewhere. Thanks

the pcv kit is a common failure, 19mpg depends on what type of driving he's doing

Oil Breather pipe can cause fumes in the cabin. Not an expensive fix. My old 9-5 had fumes in the car - was around £30 to get the breather pipe replaced at an indie.
