Goodyear Eagle F1s (GSD3s)
Toyo T1R

Former will give better longevity, but latter more grip and are £20 or more per tyre cheaper...

Just had Toyo tyres fitted this morning. My area of Leeds is still very snowy/wet and I am very impressed.

Fitted Bridgestone RE040 in the end.. much better than the conti sport contact M3 tyres. these tyres have a stiff side wall which gives a nice feel to the steering but makes the ride alittle more firm. quite abit quieter than the original tyres as well.

I've never used an online tyre retailer as, generally, they can never beat a local tyre fitter.

My front pair of Toyo Proxes T1R were 90 quid each inclusive.

I had Michelin Pilot Sports on my 9-3 Aero - considering it is mapped to 270bhp I thought the 18+K miles they lasted was pretty good. They were outstanding in the dry and good in the wet. They no longer do them in 17" Aero size so I had Pilot Exaltos fitted - can't comment on the dry performance (hasn't been dry since) but they are better than the Pilot Sports in the wet.
