Swap 9000 Aero for a 9-5?

Been thinking about this recently. My 9000 is in very good nick, black with rocky black leather, Maptun Stage 1, Full poly bushes (including engine and gearbox), Bilsteins, new ball joints, track rod ends, vac lines, turbo etc. etc. passed its MOT last week with zero advisories and I have every bill from pretty much new.

However I fancy a 9-5 as the 9000's pace just isn't used. Good 2.3LPT with a stage 1 map would do the trick fine.

The grass isn't always greener though. I love the old school nature of the 9000 and the fact that its a proper Aero (i.e. tuned, manual, black).

Any suggestions?

Only think with going the remapped 2.3lpt route is will you miss the 'toys' from the 9k Aero..?

If not, then, there's nothing wrong with your idea.

I went from a slightly modded manual 9k Aero to a 9-5 Aero auto, and haven't ever really missed the 9k Aero in any way.

not missed the 9k since i swapped to my 9-5
