93 and blue tooth
Discussion
Hi all,
brother in law has just taken delivery of a new 9.3 linear sportswagon 1.9tid.
We have been trying to get his phone working in the car via bluetooth.
The handbook says it will connect without the cradle in the centre console, but we cannot get the bluetooth connection symbol to come up on the SID. Are we missing something or is this model not compatible.
thanks.

Similar situation ....
I've just bought a late 06 9-3 diesel linear sport estate. The car hasn't got the infotainment stuff and therefore I wasnt expecting bluetooth/hands free capability but I noticed the phone buttons on the wheel. I tried to see if I could pick up a signal/connect from my mobile but nothing. Thinking the steering wheel has the buttons (perhaps a common part for all trim levels) but not connected to any device unless Vector trim + ??
Would be interested to know what you find.

I went for the 3100 unit which looks like this
Its a small display and is mounted where the ash tray should be (I have a 9-3 '55 plate). If your car is a 9-3 you should have an ISO cable down in the passenger footwell behind the transmission tunnel to plug the parrot stright in (sorry...you'll also need a £15 cable).
So all in all I paid £65 for the kit and £15 for the cable. I think its a great solution and very neat.
If you want any pics of the install, let me know. More info here : www.parrot.com
