Does this sound a bit fishy?

I know exec barges are a dime a dozen in the UK, but come on... (and why would a private seller list the options as ccopied and pasted from a database without giving any additional info on condition etc.?).

Let's face it, it's trade money.
Is it? By coincidence, I've just put together a piece on wewillbuyyourcar.com and to see how the site works, I put in a imaginary 2003 9-5 Aero estate automatic with 58,500 miles, some stone chips on the front and a small dent in the offside front door, and it returned a bid of £3,665 - car collected by buyer and immediate bank transfer of the sale price. I (happily as I'll be hunting out an RHD bargain barge once the bonkers 900 has been sold ) accept that tidy early examples with miles are about a grand now, but asking £2K for a low mileage '04 sounds a bit suspect still - especially given the formatting of the advert.

You're not referring to Saabine (bonkers 900) are you?

When are you planning on selling Eric?
And crucially what are the details/price of the car?
You can email me the details at saabc900@hotmail.com if you'd prefer to discuss off the forum?

Given the price disparity between the UK and Continental Europe markets, I really don't think this car will be interesting value for you. Since I put it up for sale at 5.750 euro firm and as-is (insurance settlement value 15.000 euro) on Sunday I've been literally inundated with enquiries - in fact they're queing up to come and see the car... Maybe I should have pitched it a bit higher... And crucially what are the details/price of the car?

OTOH if it doesn't sell at this price quickly I'll keep it in storage at my parents' and attend to it next year or so. Could do with a trionic conversion, possibly running on E85...

How has it taken over? Just drive it less, or mothball it! I can't imagine selling mine, but the amount of development yours has had is mental. In contrast to all the 900s that have just had the boost turned up until the pips squeaked, yours has always (for my money) been the one that was tuned properly!
Mind you, mine has cost me £3k in the last year and it needs a HG job now so I know what you mean
