Picked up my new MY04 manual Aero saloon yesterday. £6750, fssh, 60k miles very clean and well looked after.

Very happy so far. CD multichanger is skipping, hoping its just cleaning required. I haven't got truly comfy in it yet either but there's lots of adjustment so it should be only a matter of time.

But stonking go and it just looks so cool and menacing in a quiet well dressed sort of way. Instant quirky saabness here and there too.

Worthing putting some cleaning CD in the changer to see if it do the trick....but I suspect notfrown

2004 with 60k miles and fssh for £6750...eek

That's what my 04 Aero is on now, so what it worth too.....how depressing, cost me 22k at 1 year old.....so that's over 300 quid a month in depreciation alone since then....censored

It is MY04 (round fogs etc) but on a late 53 plate if that soothes the pain a bit?

I did get a reasonable deal though.

The bill of sale price was nearly £30k in early '04.

Nope.....same as mine.
Mine is older in fact, as it was one of the very first MY04's regd in Sept 03.

Yees i hate to say it but trade price for that car is around £4000, auction nearer to £3200.
I am just about to trade a well specced 03 aero auto with sat nav and couldnt find a dealer anywhere to give me close to £4k for it on trade in.

Mines a 54 reg Aero estate manual.

72k FSSH, mint condition but no lux pack, paid 8.7k for it last september (9-10 months ago).

It's now worth 10p now due to the new VED rules.....feck frown

I'm keeping it till it dies.

edited...cos I put that I had an auto...I don't.

Edited cos I actually paid 200 quid more than I thought for it, and it's not an auto

Throw in a bag of Space Raiders (Pickled Onion) and I might be tempted.

Yep. I'm getting used to the power now. Overtaking ability is amazing. You can safely dispatch three cars on straights where I'd previously only nipped around one in my old 100 bhp Golf tdi.

Fingers crossed I'll be picking it up today, got held up on something yesterday so still tooling round in a poxy 308 hire car with no discernable power.

Looking forward to being able to overtake things again, it's going to make my 5am drive to work a lot of fun I think........

Saab prices are an absolute bargain more recently, and it is not because of the vehicles themselves, either.
