08 Vector Sport 150 TiD saloon

Had her for 10 days now and managed 1100 miles already.

She replaced a 102k miles Vectra SRi with the same engine - never missed a beat and a wrench when the boss replaced her.

All good so far - she'll be on 1k a week soon but averaging 50-odd mpg, quieter then the Vectra and extremely comfortable (6'2" and 17 odd stone).

Doesn't set my pants on fire but I have a toy in the garage (my username sort of gices that one away....) which gives me my pure petrol hit whenever I need it!

Not sure TBH - mainly motorway miles and a light right foot; usually set the cruise to 80 and job's done. Average yesterday over 287 miles was 48.9.

OK, nearly 4 weeks under the wheels now and 3000 miles more on the clock and I'm loving this car. No niggles or problems, more comfortable than any previous car, averaging 52.3mpg.

The only slight downside is a vaguely floaty feeling at the front when pressing on away from the motorway. Nothing serious and I'm adjusting my driving style as 1) £300 on a set of Hirsch springs would mean almost certain divorce and 2) it's owned by my boss! It also means I'm less inclined to drive "fast" meaning my mpg stays good and other half gets taken out for dinner more frequently with the savings (her words, not mine).

I'm really pleased I chose this car.
