Anyone have an idea about the rough cost of a 36k service at a Saab dealer for a 2005 1.8t?

Is the 36K service a "big one"? I don't recall as mine had just had its 36K when I bought it. The 60+K service is a "big one" but was less than you have quoted - where are you? You can get a discount at many main dealers if you are a SOC member...

Recently had a 72k service on my 95 aero. Would have been over £700 at main dealers.

Cost me £450 at specialist. This did include new rear discs and pads though.

The price you've been quoted sounds about the going rate though...unfortunately
