Good old bus...

To my delight Mrs Beard's old 1994 (GM) 900S Auto has passed its MOT again.
It has done over 217,000 miles, and apart from a slush box rebuild at 180,000 miles (not bad for an auto I thought) has only required wear and tear and minor repairs (it needed a flexible rear brake pipe this time).
The underneath of the car is rock solid (mechanic comment on this) apart from the plastic "undertray" at the front which is slowly disappearing...
Tiny bit of rust on a rear wheel arch. Uses no oil and no water between services.
So whilst not the finest car ever to grace the Saab name, it must have been pretty well built! (And is a great load carrying workhorse)
