Well, I've had it just over a month now and am over the moon with it. Everything they say about the mid-range pull is true, never have I experienced such effortless overtaking, awesome biggrin

No creaks or rattles, just quiet and steady progress. And all that for about 25mpg at the moment, top car thumbup

Looks a nice set of wheels.

How powerful is the engine? I've always liked Saabs, ever since I had a 900 'Classic' at uni.

Another reason I love it is because you don't see them everyday, unlike audi, bmw, merc etc. It's just a bit more special. Mind you, so are some of the drivers, I cringe when another one comes the other way and the driver flashes his lights, or waves at his fellow Saab owner, that's not my bag at all biggrin

Oooh, Bob, I've just seen that you have an E28 M535i cloud9

I don't suppose you'd let me have it so that I can strip it, cage it, and rag it around the Nürburgring would you? biggrin

Nice and pokey then!

I noticed this when I used to tool about in my Saab, I've never had it in any other car. If there was ever another 900 'Classic' coming the other way, they used to flash their lights or wave. I thought it was quite pleasnt really, after all, it beats somebody giving you the finger or the coffee beans!

The funny thing was that my old 900 was a real nail, it always started first time and never let me down, but it was beige and very rusty!

So, have you put it round the Ring yet? Is it considerably quicker on a lap than the Mundano you had before?
