9000 turbo ecu ect.

Hi, now my uncle has a 9000 turbo, with an odd problem.. every now and then it stops and will not start for 10 mins or so.

they are fairly sure its an ecu isssue.

now otherwise its in quite nice nick, so I was wondering about getting hold of it ( for not a lot) and bunging an emerald ecu or something on it to turn into a track day sg...
does that seem like a plan...

are these things fitted with the likes of abs and traction control and if so are they likley to give me a problem if i junk the saab ecu, or will it be happy with them not working and not functioning

Is this an engine with tcs? If so it'll be one of the tcs items or a damaged hose. The car sometimes goes into limp home mode or refuses to start.
