Ive just been fortunate enough to aquire one of these but I know very little about it. It has a full T-18 conversion. Can anyone inform me what the bhp is? Its based on a 2.0 aero turbo and has covered under 10k from new

Contact Abbott Racing as they are the one's that did all the various 'T' labelled cars for Saab City IIRC.

It wasn't a T-18. 2001 2.0 Aero Convertible lowered and tinkered with by Abbott racing from new. Like a new car with sub 5k miles on it. I bought it from a celebrity! It has a carbon fibre effect panel on the dash, rear spoiler but alas no heated seats although they are electric/memory.

Its not manual though so may be for sale!

Do have a clear list of the mods Abbott did?

The carbon fibre dash was a standard Saab option by the way, and all Aero HOT 9-3s had the boot spoiler (My has both plus heated electrically operated memory seats wink )

Car was registered by Mike Powell who was Saab UK MD in 01, then sold to the celeb I bought it from at 3 months old. It is lowered, is the standard exhaust with a round bore pipe or more squared off? Anything I can visually check engine bay wise re mods? Likewise what colour should standard spec dampers be? FInally, where would I find the heated seats controls?

Its a 2.0 aero-whats the BHP?

Mine came with an oval tail-pipe as standard (fairly large bore but not huge - I have a 3" exhaust on it now) unless anything very radical has has been done, you won't find anything much under the bonnet! Is the the air-filter standard? It it had an Abbott ECU, I imagine this would be labelled as such, but again not immediately apparent.

The 2.0 Aero HOT (which I guess is what yours is as an '01 plate) came which 205bhp/270Nm as standard.

I phone the supplying dealer today-Saab city. The car had a carbon dash and steering wheel, lowered Hirch sport suspension (fitted by Abbott) and Hirsch Grill and sprts exhaust.

Lovely looking car but Im no fan of an auto. Should be nice for a few months though!
