Greetings,

After a couple of years away from Saabs we have decided to come back and are looking for a 2004 model, not overly fussed on engine but would like..
black paint, leather, nice wheels and some toys...

If anyone is thinking of selling but wants to avoid the pain of doing the selling please get in touch.
Or if anyone knows of any bargains (I want to pay as little as possible).

Cheers

The 04 model is, for the soft-tops, the first year of production. I'm not familiar with any problems with them but I would advise checking. They are much stiffer and better in terms of scuttle-shake than the "old" 03 soft-tops (like my 02) BUT they are also much heavier and hence slower - my 02 Aero conv (205bhp) is considerably quicker than an O4 Aero conv (210bhp) for example.

Thanks for the response, the weight thing does not bother me, we are looking for a Vector with either the 1.8t or 2.0t spec engine (I'll chip it if I want to go faster.

It is just finding one, I've set a top limit of £12k, there seem to be a few to choose from but as always I'd rather get one from a fellow ph'er if poss.
