Have you actually looked at the engine mounts? The "engine jolts" could be something else (check the bulkhead for splits). If I was you I'd get someone who knows what they are doing to have a good look at it. (I can't say I've heard of Saabs having engine mount problems, but other might know better)

well my other friend pointed out that the bolts at the front of the engine, the bolts have like melted and you cannot unscrew them, may get it checked out
as sometimes have trouble with reverse, when i reverse the car jumps a bit

GET IT CHECKED QUICKLY - what you describe is potential very dangerous.

sh&& now you are making me really worried Prof Beard..what could the fault be?

the car runs smoothly and great, its just that reverse, the car jolts a bit, as if there is something underneath the car jumping, and if i dont match the gears properly the whole car jolts when i change gear.......what could be the danger? as if i drive normal and ok the car seems fine

If your mate is right and the engine mounts are in a poor condition, it really could cause you to crash if they "let go" unexpectedly ... It sounds to me like getting a proper mechanic to have a look would be wise? It won't cost much if their isn't a problem and will be money well spend if there is!

Engine mounts went on both of my 9000
If your engine mounts are gone then you will have problems changing gear,, too much engine movement

Not a big or expensive job if you know an independent Saab specialist
I fitted poly gearbox bushes at the same time made a huge difference to my gear change..

Glad the problem wasn't too serious thumbup I'm not sure about the cable - I'll have a look in the manual... Where does it start and finish

thanks prof beard, i had a good day i found 3 other saabs at the staff car park and now we all park our saabs next to one anothers, anyway, after work noticed there is a cable hanging precariously low to the floor, i have tried to put it back up but to no avail, its about 2 inches thick and is at the back passenger side, 3/4 back of the car, just aft of the back wheel, a arms reach in the middle, the cable is drooping and dont know how to fix it back, could it be the electric cable for the real lights ?
