2008 9-3 Convertible 1.9TTID 180 ps Aero 2,600km Drive
Discussion
I have just completed a 2,600 km drive over 2 days in a 2008 9-3 Convertible 1.9TTID 180 ps Aero and I was impressed.
Most of the the driving was motorways including German Autobahns cruising at 180kph with the occasional blast upto 220kph when traffic conditions allowed which wasnt too often unfortunately. The car felt stable at those speeds.
I was very impressed with the smooth power delivery and the acceleration at those higher speeds. Pulling from a stand still was good but not really quick.
We returned an average fuel consumption of 7 litres per 100km.
Other comments:
The headlights turn as you turn which was surprisingly useful.
Wind noise was surprisingly low.
The suspension felt firm for a convertible and ultimate comfort.
