Hello again,

I have a ng900 2.0i S 3dr Coupe which has recently blown it's head gasket, i was wondering if anyone would be after any of parts from it before it gets scrapped.

It has the three spoke speedline 15 alloys which although aren't pretty visually are straight, they could be redone, the front two have brand new 195/50 R15 88v Pirelli P6000 fitted (one's done about 1000 miles the other about 45!!) The rears have some budget tyres on although they have plenty of tread.

The car is fitted with a towbar which could be removed. Although the engine doesn't work due the head gasket failure and the gearbox was whining towards the end (the car has done over 200 000 miles so it can probably be forgiven) they may yield some useful spares.

All of the removable panels are sound, the doors, bonnet and bootlid are all good bar a few small shopping trolley dings.

The interior is grey cloth and is a little tired but no rips and any marks that there are on the seats could be removed with some elbow grease.

So there we are, if anyone is interested give me a shout either through this thread, a PM or email me on Jami@mental-bloc.com with what parts you want and your offer.

All parts are available.

Laters,

Jam.

P.S the car is in Loughborough (J23 of the M1)

I sent you an e mail the other day, but have not seen any reply.
If you are interested in selling a rear headrest or the tow bar can you let me know the prices?

I'm not sure which SID it has, any ideas how you check?

The Boot locking motor works and i can remove it for you.

Email me your reply and how much you think the parts are worth to Jami@mental-bloc.com and we can sort it out.

Laters,

Jami.

Either way - if the SID still has all of its pixels alive, it's got to be worth something even if only for rarity value. wink

I believe its the SID 2 and it is missing quite a few lines new mind pixels. These can be repaired apparently although i've not tried any of the companies who say them can do it.

I agree.
Doing the head gasket has to be cheaper than going out and buying another car.

I have not seen a reply to the e mail I sent you, but if you are going to break it and want a few beer tokens for a rear head rest and / or the tow bar then e mail me through my profile.
What size wheels / tyres have you got??

Edited to add, don't bother answering the bit about the wheels / tyres, have just re-read your original post ( they are not the ones I was after ).

Hello again all,

sorry for the late response.

K321 - unfortunately it's a case of cutting my losses, it's not just the head gasket if it were then i would happyily fix it, but it's got other problems aswell, the clutch is on it's very last legs the syncro on 5th is starting to go; the head gasket was just the final nail. I'm very sorry but my 900 came without AC and suffers from the same knob problem with the heater controls smile

Big Dunc - Sorry about this aswell but i don't seem to have an email from you regarding the car, would it be possible to try it again - Jami@mental-bloc.com and we can discuss the headrest and towbar.

Thanks for the responses all, Jam.
