Hi. My stepbrother told me today that the idling revs on my car is too high, and was wondering what it should be?

WHen i turn the car on, it sits at 1000rpm , surely this is what its meant to be as?

i want an aero

hi there

checking the manual, the idle speed on the 2.0 n/a and turbo's should be around 900 rpm, so an extra 100 higher isnt really going to make a huge difference.

Mine often sits happliy at 1000 rpm, somtimes when the engine is warm it sits just under 1000 rpm, so i wouldn't worry too much
