Am having leanings towards one of these and could do with some pointers. Are the gearbox issues a thing of the past, do they torque steer or do they have lsd, is the fuel consumption this side of stupid

TIA

1 Don't know

2 They torque steer like ****, that's why Abbott and co do Viggen Rescue Kits

3 No LSD AFAIK

4 My 9-3 Aero does mid/low twenties round town high 30s on runs - can't see a Viggen being any better, prob worse

My 9-3 2.0t torque steers like a b*****d, however I have come to accept this as a 'feature'. For what I paid for it, the car remains a no-brainer. smile

My 9-3 viggen cab has over 140K miles, replaced syncro on 1st & 3rd at 96K, torque steer is part of the fun, although I have reduced it a little by putting 225's on it, fuel consumption averages between 26 and 35, although I have seen the SID recording 39!, depends how you drive it. I have now handed it over to mrs luckyb as the daily driver, having picked up my company car (lotus elise 111r). The viggen was the first car I have ever owned for more than 12 months, and I have now had it for over 4 years. With the benefit of hindsight, I still would have bought it!
