Hello Chaps.

I knew that it would need a service shortly anyway, and the service message has come up on the SID display now.

So I phoned Ian Allen Saab, to book in a full service. £250. So i ask them what do i get for my £250, and they said Oil & filter change, Plugs change and airfilter....thats it! FOR £250???????

I said that for £250 i would expect much more than that, window wipers, cabin filter, brake fluid, brake pads, ect

its booked in for next wednesday, but i think that £250 is a bit of a rip off for oil and plugs

what should they do?

I see from your profile you are in Adlestone, Surrey - I would post on the Saab Owners Club site and ask for the name of a good, local independant Saab garage. Dealer labour rates are around £90 an hour. West Midlands Saab Services are very highly rated - too far for you, I know, but their web site gives some idea of the kind of prices independants charge. You would probably have to pay more, being further south, but it may give you an idea of the savings. Unless your car is pretty new there is no benefit to having a dealer stamp in the service history over an indie one.

Hope this helps.
