Hi Guys,

I'm looking at a Saab 93 for the misses, but having never had or even driven one, not to sure if it's a good purchase.

also, running costs? what are they likely to be? I will want to get an extended dealer
warranty. what am i likley to expect? and do they have any common problems for a car nearly 4 years old.

car is here:

Many thanks guys,

hmm, i hear the current generation of Saabs have more problems than the previous hatchback 9-3 (my car)...but im not an expert. Saabcentral is a good shout, they know their Saabs.

Cool car for the wife though!

Hi, also try www.saabscene.com, more of a UK based site. I have a new shape 9-3 diesel (non cabrio), and have done 85000 miles in it. Very comfy interior which is well laid out, handles well when pressed, and has no "badge snobbery" attached to it. Few minor glitches (rattles from dash, poor retracting seatbelts), but a good Saab independant is cheap and a godsend. Friend has just purchased a Saab 9-3 cab over a Audi A4 cab after driving mine.
