my headlamps are crap. i went to halfords bought these better ones..and the bulbs wouldnt fit the car so i had to take it back. How do i get better headlamps for the car? its got this 3 point connector thing for the bulb to go into.
also on another note, do blue white lights really make it easier to see in the dark
lastly..rainex..that rain repellent stuff..if you spray it on the windscreen does it work on a wet motorway>

Not sure what the exact code for is for the bulbs for the GM900 but there should be lots of readily available bulbs - have you tried the likes of PFS or elkparts?
Blue white lights are mainly for show - the best light for night driving is actually a yellow tint (just not as cool looking)
As for Rain-X - what do you mean work on a wet motorway? Certainly in my c900 i can driveat 70mph in the rain and not use my windscreen wipers as the water just beads and disperses.

I had the same problem in the past with a VX Senator and an Omega - crap lights. Even back the the 30% uprated bulbs were a very effective upgrade. But you do need to buy the right ones for the car.
www.aceparts.com may prove helpful - run by a PH'er.
There is much more to successful lighting then the colour of the light, which in any case is dependent on many factors.
Not sure about Rainex on windscreens. It is not recommended by the manufaturers. I tried it (an equivalent product) on a windscreen once some years ago and found it to be a real pain when the wipers were needed and the coating started to wear off. All other glass and the mirrors - great, but the windscreen somewhat iffy.

GM900 Headlights are H4 bulbs.
