Have a 2000 9-5 2.0lpt,had it since new.Has done 57000 and gets a service every 6 months.Have noticed lack of power when starting off, no get up and go so to speak.Have checked all the pipes around turbo and cant see any cracks or loose clips. There is no sign of any smoke comming from the exhaust when starting or stopping.(i`m not that mechanically minded so hope you understand me)
The car is totally standard and was planning to do a little tweaking to ECU brakes and suspension, nothing mad 200bhp would do nicely.Hope my prob isn`t to serious.
Ideas please

Check the wastegate acutator rod hasn't fallen off.
The clip that holds it on, corrodes and falls of, leaving you with no boost!
Have a look just under the exhaust heat shield to the right ,should see the wastegate arm on the downpipe just before the flange, check the rod is secure on there.
