My wife's 1994 NG900S has just sailed through it's MOT again - needed one tyre - at 205510 miles. Whilst they are not as lovely as the Classic 900s they are certainly durable!!

Edited - forgot to put "not" in - sorry!

My brother has a 96 900S for his occasional transport (mostly 'bikes everywhere) and it is great - comfortable, effortless, always starts on the button. Only bad thing about it is the heavy cable clutch.

I think they are a considerable bargin nowdays - five hundred can get a good one.

We don't have the clutch issue - my wife's has a slush box.
