Anyone driven one of these yet?
I think an estate version could really fit the bill for my next car but I'm slightly put off by all the reviews which seem to slate the handling and steering.
Ignore the reviews as just about all journo's are anti-Saab. The 9-3SS has a terrific chassis with great steering, the Re-Axs rear suspension giving great turn-in feel.
However, there car isn't without it's faults, but handling and steering isn't one of them.
I'm not convinced about the V6T engine either, it has poor fuel consumption and high emissions. The better choice for the same money is the 210hp 4 cyl Aero but with the Hirsch upgrade.....
interesting that you should say jounrnos are anti-Saab - why should that be?
I must say that when I had a 24hr test drive of a 9-3 Aero a couple of years ago I did find the steering a little lacking in feedback - I'm just a little wary that the 2.8 would push it over the edge (hopefully not literally)
mine will be a company car so it'll have to remain standard so the Hirsch upgrade is out
I'd only really consider the V6 as I made a mistake with my current car of not worrying about what my car sounded like - after the Alfa that was a big mistake and I won't be making it again
